{October: Music and Memories}

Scott and I took off to Greenville for a lovely night out...dinner at Sassafras followed by Needtobreathe in concert!  Such a sweet surprise was being seated two tables from my cousin and his wife!
I haven't seen Patrick and Ruth in years!  They ended up being just one section over from us at the concert also so we caught up even more then.  What a blessing!

Grandaddy and Mimi had the girls for the night and Luke was off on the church middle school Fall Retreat where they took a deep dive into scripture on friendship.

Forever and ever my favorite dessert...creme brûlée!  We chose this restaurant just because of it however the steaks with gorgonzola butter were definitely the showstopper!  Scott got a peanut butter pie for dessert and said it was divine.

Our besties from the west coast were supposed to be here with us...but the government switched up their plans so we had two extra tickets.  Lindsey and Hampton joined us last minute (it was her birthday!).

Family is always family and you just pick right up where you left off.

Truly another incredible concert.  It's always fun to see them in Greenville...where they got their start and where their family is.  We had lots of their families right around us and it was fun watching them enjoy this, too.

So very grateful for Sunday night youth gatherings.

I typically pick Luke up from the fields.  They spend an hour studying God's Word and discussing applying it in their lives and then go have fun on the fields!

It can't just be one or the other.  Sure, fun is great but it is so refreshing as parents to know that discipleship is first and always foremost.

More skills mastered on the drums!  This kid is SO good on those things!

AJ found Bubba's ice cream that he left and she was sneaky!  We send Bubba this picture for a good laugh!

The girls had show and tell in Spanish and this little lady wanted to take things like this giant dolphin and her chickens...we sent pictures instead for the teacher to share.

Afternoon walks are our favorite these days!

Show and tell in Spanish!

More Earth Science experiments...with hoodie girl! ha!

Another beautiful and blessed week!
