Selfless and humble.  Patient and kind.  He sacrifices and gives and loves and leads us so well.  It's easy to celebrate him today and always.

You are the man I always dreamed of one day having my children call "Daddy".   Gracious, are they blessed by you!  You don't even realize the half of it and that's what makes you so amazing.  You always want to do more and give more and be more for them and for us.  You meet me wherever I am and push me towards more...or just let me be if you discern that is best for the moment.  Your patience is unprecedented and your humility rare. Getting to watch you love our five is a treasure for me...knowing that the investment you make in their lives daily far surpasses anything I could have ever imagined I would experience in the one I get to do life with.  God has moved your heart closer and closer to His in the 20 years we've been together...and seeing His reflection in you brings me to my knees in praise.  My beloved, I am the lucky one...then and now and forever.
