We just got home from a FUN afternoon full of celebrating the Year of the Sheep {Chinese New Year} with some local adoptive families! The kids were all decked out in their silks and we feasted on Chinese favorites...followed by a dragon dance and "fireworks" {packaging poppy rolls taped to the floor that popped as they marched on them!}. Bubba and Bear played lots of kickball between activities and Bear was especially grateful that someone brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts since he truly does believe that the best are found at The Garden Hotel in Guangzhou. He also cracked us up pretty good when we were taking the group photo...he flashed his peace sign up that he perfected on our trip last year. ;) So thankful we have such a great community to celebrate our daughter's heritage! It blesses your heart so much to see so many precious children IN their families at home! God is good!
