These two are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. Our little China Doll came right in and took that beloved spot of "baby" right away with gusto and my sweet Luke is still adjusting. He needs more cuddling time that the others and will quickly take his place on my lap when he sees an opportune moment. This new role of being a "middle" is hard on him and us, too. I've catered to him more than I typically do in his first four years being that he is our rainbow baby...the beautiful gift after our storm. He is our redeeming little one...never taking our first girl's place but showing us from day one how loving another child can truly be healing. He's loving his new role as big brother at times yet adamantly claiming that he wants to be the baby again the very next. I know this will take time and we all have quite an adjustment to make as we find our new roles but it's moments like these that give me hope...
...and make me so thankful that God's plan is far greater than I ever could have imagined...

How precious is that Luke! Oh that a sweet boy to being play tea with his baby sister. I too had loved on my youngest boy because I thought he was my last baby. God saw differently and gave me " my baby girl" at almost 40. He was at times overshadowed by the new baby and I had to work hard making sure that I still had special time with just him and me. It truly is a balancing act making sure all 3 of your children are getting what they need. You do it so well- Rebecca! God has gifted you with unending motherly love and patience!
Seriously so adorable. You have to put this up in her room. Love those two!
