God is Good!!!

We just got home from Charleston and are resting up for Wyatt's teeball banquet tonight (well, at least mommy and daddy seem to need the rest)...but, I wanted to quickly update y'all. The echo could not have gone better! The tech, Pam, who has done both of Luke's echos & did all of Annabelle's also, got the "perfect" picture within seconds of beginning. She continued to do even more for my peace of mind and was wonderfully thorough with us. (I truly feel sorry for anyone caring for me this time around...I ask every single thing possible!)
Dr. Graham came in after reading the echo and said that he got "perfect" pictures in the first two that Pam took but that he saw also about 36 more that proved Luke's heart looks great! The fluid/effusion has completely resolved and there is nothing (seriously, isn't God awesome?!?!?) that he is concerned about. I asked about having another echo once Luke arrives and he didn't even feel that that was necessary at this time!
We were also blessed to deliver another 30 Annabelle Baskets to the PCICU and more goodies up to 7C! God is so good!

I am SO HAPPY for you Rebecca. I hope now that you can rest a little easier until delivery. I too have thought about getting an echo once the baby arrives, but I hope I get the "all good" like you so I don't need one. Such a scary thing this time around I completely understand, but you have so much faith and strength. Thank you for your example. I am so very happy for you!!!!

Love, Keisa

Praises, Praises, Praises!

I prayed for Luke & Baby Bentley all night (literally, all night... as I was up with a sick baby girl ALL night) while I prayed for my own baby girl. I am so, so, so thrilled to read this update! You couldn't have received a better report! Thank you, Lord, for answered prayers!

Have fun tonight... I'm sure you have a weight lifted off of your shoulders tonight :) Enjoy it!

Love, Danielle

Dear Rebecca,
I am so thrilled at what God is doing in your life! I will continue to pray for your family and dear little Luke. I could not find your regular email address but I wanted you to know that my mother passed away a week ago today. It was sudden but she had been in chronic pain for years so it is a blessing to know that she is now pain free. I hope things continue to go well for you.
Love you,

I have been meaning to try and contact you for about 9 mths now. Our little Nolan will be 9 mths next month. I just happened to see your comment on the Wilsons' blog (they are friends of a friend) and got the link to your blog. We received your basket for our Nolan as he received heart surgery when he was 4 days at MUSC for TAPVR. I went to college with Karen Murray, and she mentioned that she was friends with you as well. The basket meant so much to me as MUSC was the 4th hospital in as many days for us (he was 6 weeks early and we had no idea of a heart defect). I had nothing for him, and I was honestly scared to buy anything for him at the time. He is wonderful now and God is good! Thanks again, Renee Bostick

Hi,

My name is Becca. I was born with TOF, PA and PH. My best friend Tommy has Hypoplastic Left Heart as well. He is now nineteen and I just wanted to let you guys know that if someone who was born nineteen years ago when there wasn't much they could do for the defect and live then so can your daughter. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

With Hope,
Becca

Rebecca and family, We are so excited for you!!! You are such a strong Christian and how you have taken the home going of Annabelle and turned it into a way to witness and give to others is amazing!!! Our prayer to others and I know you feel the same, is that our faith and personal relationship with the Lord is the only way we have all gotten through trials in this life and we take no credit. All the praise and glory goes to the Lord!!! Loveand Prayers, Connie Toole (Emerson's Nana , Erica's Mom)

Hi Rebecca! I am so very happy that everything went well at your cardio appt. God is Great!! I am so excited for you! One of my good friends knows a couple that recently had a baby that was transported to MUSC for heart surgery and I started reading her blog - she mentioned that they received and Annabelle basket in PC and how wonderful they thought it was!! If you guys plan a trip to the beach before it gets too close to Luke's arrival - let me know!! Talk to you soon!!
