Even the birds are confused...

You know that you live in the South when... you tell your 4 year old that it MAY snow and he's up at 4:30 anticipating the first real snow he's ever seen! Wow...we don't even have gear to wear in this weather! It's been fun!!!

Another sign...Wyatt was shoveling snow into his dump truck and says "Mommy, this sure is a lot of snow!"

And, OF COURSE, school was canceled last night when the weather guys said there was a chance of 1-2 inches of snow today! (I thought all of you precious Michiganders (is that even how you spell it?) would get a kick out of that!)

I've been thinking of you this month and have just looked at your notes. Though I haven't lost a child there was a point that I thought God would take her. My heart is with you during these difficult milestones. Even though the hurt may still be there, I will pray that the memories will be sweeter than the pain. May God shine His perfect peace on you.

Isn't great how us Southerners can appreciate the little things in life like just a few inches of snow! We got about 6" here in Raleigh and we're having a blast. I babysat my 2 nieces (6 & 3) this morning and they just couldn't get enough of the snow. Ethan wasn't sure what to think but didn't want to miss out on any of the action with his cousins here!

I know this Michigander got a kick out of it :-) How sweet. I wish I could package some of our snow and send it down for Wyatt to play in. Really, I'd like to send it to you so I don't have to shovel anymore! :-) Rebecca, thank you so much for sharing your precious family with us.

Heart Hugs,
Aimee Gillespie

For some strange reason, I just can't stop laughing!!! "ATTENTION SOUTH CAROLINA!!! We will have an inch of snow today, so make sure you get to the store to stock up on groceries before it comes"!!!! OH MY!! Whyatt sure did look like he had some fun. His little fingers were probably frozen after playing outside! Enjoy it!
Love to you!

How Fun for Wyatt! I remember when each of my boys witnessed their first snow. Now that is all they want during Christmas break. Their wish came true this past Christmas. Enjoy the little bit while you can! Michelle

I'm sure everyone from North Carolina on up is laughing at us all for yesterday. Oh well, we'll take what we can get when it comes to snow. Brady only knew what snow was from seeing it on Toot & Puddle. ~ Kim :)

HORRAY FOR SNOW!! I love that. We have the same alerts here in the desert.... only it's "STAY INDOORS.. THERE'S A CHANCE OF RAIN?!" Nevermind the summer heat of 115 degree "GET OUT THERE AND FRY YOUR SKIN OFF!"

LOVE the pictures of Wyatt... he is just so adorable!!
