Prayer Requests...

Please join me in praying for two beautiful little girls, Lindsay & Susannah. There is a link to Lindsay's blog on the righthand side of this blog. She had her second open heart surgery a few days ago. She is recovering but having a few setbacks...she is a feisty little fighter! Her mother, Suzie, is a dear friend of mine. Suzie has given specifics on Lindsay's condition so we can pray in detail for her recovery.
Susannah Lundeen is a precious little 3 year old who is, at this moment, receiving a new heart at MUSC. If you wish to keep up with her story, please visit www.carepages.com and her carepage is OurLittleSusannah. Her mother is also updating regularly so we will know how to pray.
Both of these little girls were born with HLHS like Annabelle.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace fo God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Phillippians 4:6-7

What wonderful posts you have written this last week Rebecca. I have no doubt that our angels are in girly girl heaven just like a Disney princess. I do not think the Lord would have it any other way as they are truly princesses to him. I am in the middle of an email to you and I am so excited to chat more, but know that I appreciate you sharing you special dream experience. What a wonderful experience to cherish forever.

Praying!!

The girl right next to us in the PCICU has HLHS. Her name is Arianna and she is six months old. She has had two surgeries but developed a clot after the second one. She will not breathe without the respirator. I thought of you immediately when the mom told me about her condition.

Dear Rebecca,

I am Elaine, a friend of Suzie Dean and kind of a second mom...not that she needs one with wonderful Linda! :) I have followed your blog about precious Annabelle since the day Suzie told me about Lindsay's heart...so I feel like I know and love you...I'll bet you hear that from a lot of strangers.

I have a special favor to ask...we need more prayers for Lindsay today...they haven't had time to put anything on her blog yet today and I don't want to presume I should do it. But I feel an overwhelming need to reach out to you because I KNOW in my heart that you understand. Apparently Lindsay is worse today and the coil isn't working so the Drs. are meeting this afternoon and Suzie and Linda are on their way back to Ann Arbor. Could you please say some extra special prayers for Lindsay for them?

I am going to give you my email because I don't want to put anything more on the blog since Suzie hasn't posted yet...so if you have any questions, you can contact me. elaineburdick@hotmail.com

You have been such an inspiration to all of us during this journey in such a profound way that I don't know if I could ever verbalize if properly...but we love you more than you can imagine. I just thought that you needed to know things aee not going well and that your special prayers might help.

In Christ, with love, Elaine
