Info for Annabelle Baskets

WOW! We have been blown away by everyone's desire to help make Annabelle Baskets a reality. We thought it may be easiest to post a shopping list instead of trying to email and call everyone back. I forgot to list on the last posting that receiving blankets will also be included. These are especially special to me because the nurses would wrap Annabelle in them and then let me take it with me for the night. The blankets smelled just like her and were so precious to hold when I couldn't hold her. Plus, they look a lot more baby-ish than the aqua striped hospital one.

Shopping List for Annabelle Baskets:

~baskets (at least 6x6 inches and 2-3 inches deep)
~new receiving blankets
~new newborn socks (the warmer, the better)
~unused small babydoll/stuffed animal (less than 8-10 inches tall)
~new clip hairbows (approx. 2-3 inches across)

We have a pretty good supply of the stuffed animals. I have had several people offer to make bows so we are pretty good there, too. We could definitely use baskets, receiving blankets & socks. Please email me for mailing info (rsbutcher@bellsouth.net).

Your generosity is proof that we are following God's Plan for Annabelle's legacy to continue.

I don't know your family, but I can just feel your sweet daughter's spirit when I read about her and see her beautiful pictures. I'm excited to donate to the Annabelle Baskets.

What an inspiration to me. My daughter Eden is still in the PCICU in AZ recovering from OHS and will have another one in a couple of months. She has a hybrid of HLHS and Down syndrome. My husband and I have been thinking of how to do something nice for each family faced with OHs for their newborn and this is a wonderful idea. I just love putting darling bows in Eden's hair and I love that she is swaddled in my blankets. Annabelle is beautiful and she will continue to touch so many lives.
