Annabelle's Growing!!!

Last week it was 10 ounces in 8 days. This week it is 10 ounces in 6 days! Annabelle weighed 9lb 9oz yesterday! So, in the midst of spitting up (and now a little projectile vomiting) she is still managing to grow quite well. She is smiling a lot now, too! Wyatt can get the biggest grins out of her and she absolutely loves playing on the floor on her activity mat.
I have to share the most precious little comment that Wyatt said tonight as we were putting him to bed...I told him that I loved him with all my heart and he very affectionately replied "I love you with all my heart, Mommy, and Annabelle loves you with her piece of a heart". It was so precious yet absolutely hysterical! He then corrected himself and said "with her two pieces". We guessed that he's heard Scott describe Annabelle's heart as a 2-cylinder versus a 4-cylinder. So, he put it all together and figured out that she has 2 pieces. Anyways, it was so funny! He is so smart!
We are planning a very special Easter this year! Wyatt will have his very own Easter Egg Hunt at home and we are going to do the Resurrection Eggs with him on Easter morning. It will be so strange not going to church. I think we will really miss it but we've got to do what's best for our heart baby. We've been put on "house arrest" for the most part and are taking every precaution to make sure she stays completely well before her next surgery. I have been told that I can take her outside so we are praying for nice weather so that we can get outside and play some more!
Happy Easter!!!! He IS Risen!

Hi there!
I am so glad to hear that she is gaining weight! I also hope that you can get outside and play as you said. It is snowing here, so be thankful for the sunshine. I can't wait until we can see the sun everyday!
Referring to the adorable story that you shared about Wyatt, our 4 year old came home from pre-school with all of the typical projects and things that they make and I pulled one picture out that he drew and asked him what this was. It was a perfectly stenciled heart and colored in pretty well considering that a 4 year old did it. He said, "Mommy, it is my baby sisters heart." Of course I got teary eyed and he came over to me and gave me a hug. He then said,"Mommy, Mrs.Sellers (his teacher) said that GOD was going to take really good care of her." Is said, " That's right, HE is."
SOOOO cute and I will remember that always!
Anyway, glad to get a good report from you on your sweet Annabelle. I am compiling a list of questions that I will email to you later. Again, thanks again for reaching out to me and I will be staying in touch. Have a Happy Easter!
Heart Hugs,
Suzie

Rebecca and Family,

I just wanted you all to know how much I admire you guys! Your example has given me so much strength and keeps me focused on the blessing we have. Without your example, I don't know if I could have handled my current trial as well ... I certainly had/have faith, and it has been put to the test. I'm sure you all feel that way too.

I'm so happy to read about Annabelle's growth and it's amazing what the Lord has done ... she is doing so well and I know that it's all the prayers and what the Lord has planned for your lives. Your example is stunning and gives others hope that there is a risen Lord and Savior who reigns in Heaven! So many will be brought to Christ through your little angel!

As for Wyatt, what an example he is as well. For his "child-like faith" is a testimony to his parents guidance and teaching ... may all children know the joy of such a strong faith in our Lord, it will serve him well in the future.

We love you all so much ... when I am able to do some more, I'd love to do something for you all! I'll be in touch ... I just wanted you to know how much we care for you and that we are praising His name with you on this Resurrection Sunday.

Much love, Shannon
