{Slower Days...}

One thing I've long loved about homeschooling is having complete control over our schedule. Some days...and some seasons...just call for a little more relaxed approach.  Advent is at the top of that list! Our morning routine has changed a bit this past week...pressing pause on Monet and Shakespeare and Vivaldi and Sandburg and Bach...and adding in books that focus on Christ's coming.  My high schooler is working through Ben-Hur in addition to his usual studies while the young ones are enjoying more family time together reading aloud {Wyatt is included in that as well!}.  I caught a brief moment of the three school age kids at the school table this morning and just had to take a shot...knowing that these days are fleeting far too quickly.  Bear had already completed his work and was watching a mystery science video, Panda was spelling with the letter board and Bubba was doing some reading and summary work...all around my grandmother's old dining room table.  My heart is full...
