Thankful

Just a quick update on Annabelle...we have managed to make it 2 nights in a row together in a room on the "floor"!!! She had more runs of VTAC (the extra heartbeats) today but the doctors all feel like they can control it with medication. They have increased her dose of propanolol by 60% to see if that helps. If not, then we will be going to something stronger with more possible side effects. Please pray that this is not needed and that her heart responds well to this increase in her medication. We are so thankful to be in a place where everyone genuinely cares about our daughter and takes such excellent care of her.
We have also been very thankful that so far today Annabelle has kept all of her feeds down! This is the first day since she began "eating" that she hasn't had a reflux spell. She had a little wet burp at 3am but nothing like what we have been experiencing. She took 8 cc's by a bottle, too. She tires very quickly so she only tried for about 5-10 minutes but is definitely making progress from 3 cc's on Wednesday.
She has become more alert in the past two days and really tries to coo back at me when we have some awake time together. She is the sweetest little thing!
Her pacing wires were pulled out today so all we have left are her NG tube for feeding, pulse ox, heartbeat & respiration monitors and a peripheral iv (just in case). Her little belly is gradually becoming more and more skin again and less tubes and tape!
Keep praying for her extra heartbeats. It is very scary to see these episodes come up on the monitor (and then the EKG lady come in the room within minutes). Our daughter is a absolute miracle but we keep praying that He heal her completely.

Praise God that y'all got back to the floor!! I'm so glad that Annabelle is doing better, but we pray that the medication will continue to help her and that you will be able to stay on full time mommy, daddy, and big brother duty!!!

Stay strong for that precious baby girl and for each other!!!

We send you great big heart hugs, and even bigger heart prayers!!
