Wyatt is 8!!!

Whew!  We are still trying to recover from a very busy and very fun weekend!  Wyatt played in a travel ball tournament on his actual birthday on Saturday (& won every game & the tournament on Sunday!!!) and had a small party at our local putt-putt place Sunday late afternoon after another ball game.   At least we were able to worship together Sunday morning at church because I think that was the only time we sat down all weekend! :)

Here’s some favorites from the birth DAY at the ball park!  He played great at both catcher & pitcher, hit the ball very well & had the entire team dog pile on him at the end for his birthday win!

Moving on to PAR-TEE time on Sunday…an easy, fun party at the putt-putt & driving range up the road from our home.  There is a nice little building that we rented with the party that was perfect for getting in out of the 95 degree sunshine!   This was the first time we have ever done a party not at home.  So, I did much less on the decor than I usually do since I knew I had to transport it all.   But, overall it was so much easier and so fun!!!  The kids had a great time and played well past the two hours we had originally planned on.  Most importantly, Wyatt had a BLAST!!!

I have to say a very special thank you to my friend, Danielle, who shipped me four astroturf tablecloths, the banner & a bag full of tees all the way from Kansas!!!  I started to use the banner that I got with his printable party but I didn’t think it was big enough so hers was perfect!  As usual, my friends, Robin & Leigh Ann, beautifully & tastefully pulled off the cookies & cakes! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WYATT!!!  We love you so much and thank GOD for the 8 incredible years He’s given us with you!  You are a precious gift, a sweet spirit, and true treasure!
