Planned long before time…

Scott spoke these words exactly in the prayer blessing our dinner on Saturday evening…as we shared that sacred day with heart friends that only HE knew we would be welcoming into our home two years to the day that He took our baby girl Home to be with Him.

Chad & Mandy (Evie’s parents), Scott & me, JR & Suzie (Lindsay’s parents)…finally together!

This sweet little thing was a blessing to hold!!!!

…and she made fast friends with Luke, too!

The older boys did. not. stop and had just as much fun as we knew they would together.

More pictures to come as we join them in our beloved Charleston later this week!

Oh, Rebecca...I am sobbing at this post...how absolutely WONDROUS to see you all together. I think JR broke his leg in October, so that you would all be together on THIS day....not fair to JR, but perfect for the rest of you.

I kept meaning to email you before they came and I was just too busy and never got to it. I just wanted to tell you again how loved you are, how you got Suzie and JR through the darkest days of their life, and how much I just knew you would love each other. As I told another friend Saturday...these two men are priceless. There are a lot of men who just wouldn't "get" what their wives were going through and be sensitive enough to share the feelings and be so open to the blogging, the being friends with "strangers" they have never actually met, to seeing their lives shared online. These guys are so so special (and I am sure Chad is too, but I don't know him, so am focusing on JR and Scott!!)...I am so thankful to God that you have all found each other...there just aren't words...

Thanks for the pictures...I was just dying to see some and kept checking your blog, thinking you might be more likely to post than Suzie, who is after all, on VACATION!!!! :)

Love you, Elaine

Brings tears to my eyes too! I thought of you much over the weekend and of your sweet girl in heaven. What a special way to share this anniversary. Maybe someday we can have one big heart family reunion and all meet :) I'd be there! Love and hugs to you all, have a wonderful time together!

This is just awesome! I wish that we could have been there, too. What a perfect thing God did in planning this--I am sure Annabelle had a say, too! Praying that you are doing well. I will call you soon!
