{Christmas Eve Shenanigans}

This Christmas was a little different than years' past.  I had gallbladder removal surgery just a week ago and had a little snag in my recovery just a couple of days before Christmas.  I seem to have turned a corner for the better thankfully but was slow moving this year and decided to stay home for a good bit of the festivities.  {Which really was a blessing in disguise as AJ has struggled the past couple of weeks more with attachment and bonding and having her in a large crowd right now is just not a wise move!} Scott took the boys to his mother's house for his side of the family Christmas gathering later in the evening while the girls watched girly things and cuddled on the couch.  The boys had been begging to give their gifts to one another so before they left, we let them exchange the gifts they had purchased for one another.  Wyatt received a camo hunting mask and Luke got exactly what his little heart had desired...a Demolition Ranch t-shirt...but there was just one little snag.  His big brother had wrapped his gift in clear duct tape!  It was the most fun watching him get into it!  Brothers sure are fun!!!
