{Puppy Love}

Meet our newest addition....

 

 

 

...Sadie!

 

She came to us through friends {another heart baby girl's grandparents} and is already loved beyond all measure!

 

And, only a few days after Luke wound up as our first child with a broken bone...actually two.  Both his tibia and fibula cracked as the result of a razor scooter vs bike accident with Bubba.  So, now we'll be taking bird baths and hanging out in a really cool wheelchair for the next 6 weeks.  ;)

 

Thankfully, Bubba is taking on the bulk of the responsibility with Sadie {along with Mom and Dad's help, of course} until Lulu is out of a cast or at least in one that he's allowed to actually bear weight on.  

 

As far as Sadie goes...she's a Hava Tzu or Havashu specialty mixed breed of Havanese & Shih Tzu which means she's hypoallergenic and doesn't shed!  She was born May 11th and is almost 4 months old.  She loves to play catch with the tennis ball and is super sweet with the kids.  We are crate training her and she's doing pretty good so far.  She's also really smart!  She can "sit" pretty well and is picking up on our schedule quickly, too!  

 

Sadie is our first family dog.  The kids have been asking for years for one and, although we weren't really planning on it quite yet, she's truly come along at the perfect time.  We are thankful she is ours and look forward to many special memories with our Sadie girl!

 

And...a dog that we can put bows on is just icing on the cake!
