Sweet Shot Tuesday: Christmas Wonder

untitled

Luke is full of wonder this Christmas.  I love watching him around the tree (even if that does mean that my tree no longer is all that pretty since the majority of the ornaments are clumped at the top of the tree now), playing with our little nativity set that we keep under the tree (y’all wouldn’t believe all the places I’ve found the lamb) & dancing to the Christmas carols we sing all day long!  This shot was super sweet…taken just after our Hanging of the Greens on Sunday night at church…as he sweetly takes in the true meaning of Christmas.  (Oh, yes, and just before Baby Jesus was about to need a clone!  Thank goodness Daddy was paying more attention that me!)

I love this picture. Very beautiful! And I think trees with all the ornaments shoved to the top are the most special of all. It means it is a house with children in it. What can be better than that?

How beautiful!

Growing up, our Christmas tree was put in a play-pen to keep us kids away from the ornaments and presents. Then on Christmas (whatever day Dad happened to have off and we were celebrating) we'd lower one side of the pen and dig in! It was quite fun!

I also love how you're including the real meaning of Christmas. :) Not may families I know of are doing that anymore...
